The Next Phenom – The Hammer Man
This is the video that I submitted to the contest held by Gillette Co. It was called “The Next Phenom.” My entry won the most unique skill. It was shot in Irvine Ca. by my writing partner Gregory S. Walsh. We did this shot in one day and Greg had the video edited in just a few days. We had a fun time doing this production. Greg did a great job putting this montage together. He cut the music from Garage Band.

Ambidextrous Tennis-Lavery Brothers
In this video clip Chris and James Lavery are playing tennis ambidextrously. These brothers are in the case studies chapter of my book. I have taught my boys to be ambidextrous since a very young age. They are now developing an almost seemless ability from the left to the right side. I believe that anyone can learn to be very capable of serving a tennis ball with either hand and playing a form of tennis where there is much greater variety of shots. Just imagine a professional calibre player who can serve with each arm and who has a forehand and a backhand from both sides. This is the type of player that could be developed in the future of the sport of tennis.

Athletic Golf Swing-Hammer Man Lavery Style
In this clip I am practicing at the Oak Creek Course Driving range. I am working on developing a very unique golf swing. I take the components of different athletic moves and incorporate them into a Revolutionary Golf swing. I use lots of ground forces as well as centrifugal forces when I hit the ball. My club is super heavy so there’s lots of MOI in the equation too. My hand to eye coordination training allows me more freedom when I go about hitting the golf ball. There is lots of movement in my lower body but that is what athletes do when they play other sports. I am currently working on my third book entitled “The Athletic Golfer.”

MB Home Alone
Mark is one of the most multi-faceted coordinated people that I have ever seen. The level of this young man’s ambidexterity and balance is beyond comprehension. I can’t believe that he has mastered the things in seen in this video. This guy belongs in “Cirque de Soleil”
If Mark’s brain were to be scanned during and after some of these feats it would show activity throughout the entire organ. Both hemispheres must be lighting up like a Christmas Tree. It just goes to prove that the human brain is capable of doing so much more than we ever give it credit. He must have practiced thousands upon thousands of hours mastering these skills.
Think about what you are capable of doing and push the envelop a little more and you might even suprise yourself. Hammer

Battistone Brothers in the news with two handled racket
This video clip shows the skills of the Battistone Brothers. Both of these guys olay with the revolutionary two handled racquet. They are the only pros in the world that compete with this type of racquet. Both of them play ambidextrously too. Could this style of ambidextrous play be a paradigm shift in our thinking as to what is possible with training tennis players? I welcome comments on this question. Hammer

Whole Brain Power Revolutionizes Golf training to create Great Ball Strikers
Andrew McDonald is another young man who immediately took to the Whole Brain Power program. He is seen in this video clip hitting a golf ball with a golf club that I designed. I worked with Andrew on flattening out the downswing by having him hit off this tall tee that you see in the video. He hit this ball dead straight down the range 275 yards.
In the next scene, he is doing the hammer drill training. He started to get runs up into the hundreds after anly a few weeks of training. In just about two months Andrew started to strike the ball with greater control and his distance off the tee improved almost 30 yards.

Ambidextrous Serving – Emira Stafford 1/27/10
This young tennis player is Emira Stafford, age 11 and a star in the making. She serves the tennis ball ambidextrously and is developing an all court game. She has a great understanding of the fundamentals of proper stroke production. Her coach Tommy English is from the old school of teaching. You should check out his Youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/tommyenglish1

Águilas del Zulia Pat Venditte Lanzador Ambidiestro
Pat Venditte is the world’s only professional ambidextrous baseball pitcher. He is wriiten about in the case studies chapter in my book Whole Brain Power. I had the great fortune to speak with Pat a few times and we discussed his life’s journey to become an ambidextrous pitcher. I had followed Pat throughout his college career and was fascinated by his success. I have met his parents Pat and Jan and have interviewed them in person as well as by many phone conversations. Pat Sr. had the vision to teach his son to be a switch pitcher and neither the father or the son were discouraged from following the quest. Many people tried to get the dad to influence Pat Jr. to stay with one arm (right handed) but they persisted and the rest is history.

Throwing Rright Handed And Lefthanded
This is a great video clip of Max. He is from Mexico. Here is another case of a young man who is inspired to harness both sides of his brain. His motion is the smoothest that I have seen in an amateur ambidextrous pitcher. He trains by doing the mirror imaging throwing drills. He throws the ball with alternating arms and the motions almost becomes seemless. This causes the brain to mirror image motor controls. According to the leading research around the world, the brains cable that connects the two hemispheres can thicken throughout one’s adulthood. This cable is called the corpus collosum. You can read about this brain feature in Chapter 2 of my book.
Max’s story is quite inspiring. Max and I have had many communications. He has practiced alot of the drills in the book. His amazing growth spurt can be seen if you go to his youtube channel. He literally put on 35 pounds of muscle mass in less than 1 year. Whether or not this has to do with the concept of STEROIDOGENESIS is left up to debate. Evidence suggests that training the brain on the opposite (nondominant) hemisphere actually causes it to grow. This growth is speculated to happen within the glial cell population. The increased thickness of the myelin (oligodendrocytes) is related to increased levels of the Steroid, Pregnenolone. This is the master steroid that leads to increased natural production of testosterone.

Chuck Mellick from Tracy California is an ambidextrous pitcher. He has only been pitching left handed for 2.5 years and he has made tremendous strides. I began working with Chuck in January of 2008. He is part of the case studies chapter in my book. He followed the tenets of the program to a tee. He practiced the mirror writing, the juggling exercises with two pound metal balls. He memorized the Powers of 2 up to the 60th power. He has practiced doing the hammer drills and all of the other tenets in my book.
In this clip watch as he throws the first 2 pitches to a batter left handed then he switches to his right hand and blows the ball by the hitter.
Chuck was interviewed by a major radio station in his area as well as a leading television news station. When they saw the feats of strength that he exhibited at the age of 39 they believed that it was the influence of steroids. Well the truth is Chuck initiated a natural increase of steroids. It is called endogenously produced Pregnenolone. Read about the theory of Steroidogenesis in my book.
