Throwing Rright Handed And Lefthanded
This is a great video clip of Max. He is from Mexico. Here is another case of a young man who is inspired to harness both sides of his brain. His motion is the smoothest that I have seen in an amateur ambidextrous pitcher. He trains by doing the mirror imaging throwing drills. He throws the ball with alternating arms and the motions almost becomes seemless. This causes the brain to mirror image motor controls. According to the leading research around the world, the brains cable that connects the two hemispheres can thicken throughout one’s adulthood. This cable is called the corpus collosum. You can read about this brain feature in Chapter 2 of my book.
Max’s story is quite inspiring. Max and I have had many communications. He has practiced alot of the drills in the book. His amazing growth spurt can be seen if you go to his youtube channel. He literally put on 35 pounds of muscle mass in less than 1 year. Whether or not this has to do with the concept of STEROIDOGENESIS is left up to debate. Evidence suggests that training the brain on the opposite (nondominant) hemisphere actually causes it to grow. This growth is speculated to happen within the glial cell population. The increased thickness of the myelin (oligodendrocytes) is related to increased levels of the Steroid, Pregnenolone. This is the master steroid that leads to increased natural production of testosterone.
